Periodic group workshops held over a weekend or across a number of weeks.
Pre-registration required

Brandon puts together workshops that focus on specific methods or techniques across any of his areas of focus. These are ideal for medium to large groups. Topics with dates and times will be announced in advance to allow participants to pre-register.

  • A minimum of 4 participants are usually required.
  • Duration will vary – usually 2-2.5 hours, with pricing per person. 
  • All workshops will be held at Broadway UMC unless otherwise stated.

Balancing Care Series

This Yoga and Bodyworks series will present our governing elemental energies to help understand and utilize the likes vs. needs in our practice. These courses will be beneficial to those looking to start yogic, postural, and compassionate touch practices as well as those seeking to deepen their practice.

Thai Yoga Massage Study

Thai Yoga Massage is as much meditation and compassion in action as it is a highly efficient therapy for body, mind, and spirit. In this 16 hour training you’ll gain the skills and tools necessary to grow your practice to include this floor-based healing art. You’ll be able to apply what you’ve learned to care for yourself while giving to others. Suitable for existing therapists, bodyworkers, yoga teachers, and beginners.

Future Workshops

Acro Fun 101: (all levels)

Acro combines yoga, acrobatics, and Thai massage. Students will practice grounding, balance strength, and surrender to help elevate each other…off the ground. We’ll work as a group and in teams covering basing, flying, and spotting. No partner or experience necessary.

Brandon is finalizing details for this workshop. It will be in downtown Indianapolis in early 2017.

Get Back Into Yoga

This is a 5-week course, designed for those wanting to create a more fulfilling home yoga practice. It is available to all persons regardless of experience. Class will cover a number of the yogic traditions and principles that are often lost or overlooked in conventional yoga classes. Material will be presented in a manner that supports the individual to embrace the practices that resonate with them the most.

Playthink Festival Workshops

For the 4th year, Brandon joined many other like-minded people at Playthink 2016. For the first year, he “vended” Thai bodywork on site for other festival participants. Of the 50+ workshops, Brandon led five:

Thai Yoga Intensive 3 Day Workshop

Expand your bodywork practice with Thai Yoga. In this 16 hour training you’ll gain the skills and tools necessary to grow your practice. We’ll cover the history and origin of Thai Yoga, posture warm-ups, vocabulary and jargon, methods, mechanics, and variations, energy lines, and more.

Integrated Yoga (all levels)

Class begins with examples and descriptions of different yoga practices, then takes those practices to the physical postures. Wear comfortable layers of clothing that allow you to move freely.

Yin Yang Yoga (all levels)

Discover the Yin and Yang elements in your life and how to use one or the other within your life to help discover true balance. This class meant to be available and accessible to all interested. Wear comfortable layers of clothing that allow you to move. If available, bring a yoga mat and a water bottle.

Yin Thai Yoga (all levels)

Class begins with passive yoga poses and breathwork, then moves to pairing up for a guided practice of the Traditional Massage method of Thailand and relaxation. We’ll learn to listen to our own bodies better as well as getting the chance to listen tO others’ bodies, aiding in communication, safe touch practices, and empathy.

Thai and Fly: a Therapeutic Workshop

Participants will learn to explore both verbal and nonverbal communication with each other building trust and support, then take that skill to safely put others into the air with acrobatics and then down to the ground with a Thai Massage practice.

Learning AcroYoga: A Solar and Lunar Practice

You’ve done this before…remember back when we called it an Airplane Ride!. But that was when we were children and could barely comprehend what was happening any further than the fun. Now there is a method to it! You’re sure to have just as much fun finding playtime again. Many people really surprise themselves with their ability to both base and fly once they understand the techniques used. We will give you the tools to safely and effectively give each other a grand “Flying Massage” as well as do some fun tricks and stunts.

AcroYoga Mini-Series: a Four Week Study

AcroYoga combines acrobatics, yoga and Thai massage to open the consciousness, allowing you to fly. AcroYoga is a joyful way to connect with other bodies and discover new things about your own. This weekly workshop is for those that wish to expand their understanding of playfulness and creativity through acrobatics and the AcroYoga community of friends.
